Nana Hotels: A Shining Staff Celebration Filled with Smiles and Emotion

With unity, smiles, and heartfelt messages of gratitude, the Karatzis Group officially concluded this year’s tourism season.

With a dazzling event full of joy, emotion, and optimism, the hotels of the Karatzis Group marked the official closing of the 2025 tourist season.

The Annual Staff Celebration, now an established tradition for Nana Hotels, took place at the main restaurant Artemis of Nana Golden Beach, attended by the management, executives, and hundreds of employees who played a crucial role in this year’s success.

 

The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Antonis Karatzis, President and CEO of the Karatzis Group, Ms. Gioulia Karatzis, Managing Director, Ms. Nana Karatzis, Mr. Manolis Michalakis, Deputy General Manager of the Group, Mr. Manolis Maris, General Manager of Nana Hotels, Mr. Stelios Papadakis, Director of Nana Golden Beach, and Ms. Elena Kapsokefalou, Director of the Group’s new hotel, Nana Royal.

“A Big Thank You to Our People”

Mr. Antonis Karatzis, President and CEO of the Karatzis Group, stated that the annual Nana Hotels Staff Celebration is a way to express sincere gratitude to all employees who work with dedication and passion, contributing to the hotels’ outstanding performance and high guest ratings.

He emphasized that Nana Hotels consistently rank at the top across all review platforms and expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the staff for their efforts, assuring that this day will continue to be celebrated every year as one of rest, joy, and togetherness.

From her side, Ms. Gioulia Karatzis, Managing Director of the Group, thanked the Nana Hotels staff for their valuable contribution and wished them a pleasant winter and well-deserved rest, expressing her hope that everyone will return next year.

A particularly moving speech was given by Ms. Nana Karatzis, who highlighted that the past year was yet another highly creative and successful season thanks to the support of all Nana Hotels employees.

Mr. Miltiadis Karatzis, Deputy COO of the Karatzis Group, described the evening at Nana Golden Beach as a truly special one. He noted that this season had been demanding for the staff and that the event was an opportunity to thank them, enjoy a beautiful evening together, and celebrate their hard work. He extended his best wishes for a pleasant winter and expressed his hope that everyone would reunite next season.

The Group’s New “Jewel” Right on Schedule

In his speech, Mr. Manolis Michalakis, Deputy General Manager of the Group, thanked the staff and announced that the new Nana Royal hotel would be ready well before the start of the next tourism season.

He noted that this winter is full of challenges and revealed that, besides Nana Royal, the Group is also preparing the Pantheon project, which will redefine thematic tourism in Crete and mark the beginning of a new era of major developments.

A Season of Success and Expectations for the Future

Mr. Manolis Maris, General Manager of Nana Hotels, said the evening was joyful, as it provided the chance for everyone to celebrate the end of a highly successful season together.

He underlined that, despite challenges and difficulties, the year ended with outstanding results in every respect. He also mentioned that the upcoming winter will be creative and productive, with new projects for both Nana Hotels and Karatzis S.A.

From his side, Mr. Stelios Papadakis, Director of Nana Golden Beach, emphasized that although the season was demanding, it concluded with absolute success. He expressed gratitude to the staff for their dedication and to the management for their continuous support throughout a challenging year, adding that they are ready for a new era with the upgraded Nana Royal.

Ms. Elena Kapsokefalou, Director of Nana Royal, noted that this season was particularly demanding but ultimately successful. She expressed her pride and excitement to lead the team that will bring the new Nana Royal to life, which is scheduled to open in 2026.

The evening also included the recognition of three employees who stood out during this year’s tourism season.

The Karatzis Group management honored those who distinguished themselves through dedication and professionalism, reaffirming once again the family spirit and genuine appreciation that define the company’s relationship with its people.

The evening’s program culminated with exquisite food, fine wine, and dancing, in a warm and joyful atmosphere that perfectly reflected the philosophy of Nana Hotels — one of unity, teamwork, and respect for people.
