Employees of the Karatzis Group had the opportunity to undergo medical tests as part of the “Doxiadis” program for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. The Karatzis Group, in collaboration with the “Asklepios” Diagnostic Center, offered employees across its companies the chance to participate in the first phase of the “Doxiadis” program, aimed at preventing cardiovascular conditions.
For the first time, specialized staff from the “Asklepios” Diagnostic Center visited a company site, allowing employees who do not have the luxury of time to visit a medical center to undergo general blood tests, lipoprotein tests, as well as blood sugar and cholesterol checks — all required for the first phase of this specific program.
The individuals tested will receive the results of the examinations they underwent, and in the second stage, a clinical examination by a cardiologist will follow. Depending on the results, and where necessary, they will undergo further cardiological diagnostic tests.
The medical examinations will continue over the coming days across all companies of the Karatzis Group, in order for all employees to be tested, and are expected to be completed by the end of next week.
