The young patients who are treated in the oncology paediatric ward of the PAGNI now have the opportunity to play together in the newly built playground and experience beautiful moments. This playground was realised thanks to the generous support of the Karatzis Group of Companies and Mr Antonis Karatzis himself.
The modern playground is located near the clinic and was created as a tribute to Miltiadis Karatzis. It offers a protected and carefree environment that is exclusively available to the children of the clinic. The association “The Company of Love” worked closely with Mr Antonis Karatzis to design and furnish the area, which meets all safety standards for children.
The inauguration of the “Miltiadis Karatzis” playground took place on Thursday 14 September in the presence of the Archbishop of Crete. With tears in her eyes, the wife of the founder of the Karatzis Group, Nana Karatzis, told Cretalive: “I am really happy, especially because my children are good children. Nothing else in life is worth more.”
