Donation to the General Hospital of Larissa from the Karatzis Group

Mr. George Karatzis, Director of KARATZIS S.A in Larissa, recently visited the Surgical Ward of the General Hospital of Larissa.

Mr. Karatzis was escorted by Hospital Administrator Mr. Grigoris Vlachakis to the newly refurbished surgical ward. The Karatzis S.A Group has assumed the costs of converting Room 4 of the ward into a COVID-19 incident room, complete with a safe route.

With this donation, the General Hospital of Larissa now has a designated space for the treatment of COVID-19 patients who require surgery.

Since the beginning of its operation, this new COVID-19 unit has facilitated the treatment of dozens of cases without causing any interference with other hospital operating wards.

Mr. Vlachakis thanked Mr. Karatzis for his generous and essential services, and extended recognition to the contributions of the KARATZIS S.A Group. The development has proved to be not only invaluable to the safe operation of the hospital, but also as essential to the local region.

Mr. Karatzisd noted that the KARATZIS S.A Group has always demonstrated philanthropy and compassion in matters of social responsibility.

Upon seeing the incredible efforts made by the General Hospital of Larissa to protect its local community against COVID-19, Mr Karatzis could not ignore a request to assist.
