Karatzis Group is declared a True Leader for the 6th consecutive year

The Karatzis Group has received yet another important award for the 6th consecutive year, being named a “True Leader” in the 12th awards ceremony of the ICAP group of companies for 2021, among 59 other company nominees and 15 groups. This award is a milestone in the Group’s path as a leading company in the domestic market, continuing its steady upward trajectory in the sector.

This particular distinction is solid proof that the Karatzis Group, throughout the scope of its activities, managed to stand out in the Greek market with significant investments and business decisions, creating greater prospects for the future of the country and the development of a strong economy. The criteria which served as indicators for the group’s naming as “True Leader” were:

  • It is among the 500 Companies or the 200 Groups with the highest profitability (EBITDA)
  • It is included in the 500 Companies of the 150 Groups with the largest numbers of staff and they have increased their staff.
  • It ranks at the top of its industry based on its Turnover
  • It has a high “ICAP CRIF Score”

This year’s event, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy and Development and the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV), distinguished the 59 most efficient and profitable companies in the sector of Greek entrepreneurship among the 30,000 companies meeting the institution’s criteria.

In a statement, the President and CEO of the Karatzis Group of Companies, Mr. Antonios Karatzis, said: “This distinction is a high honour for the Karatzis Group, as for the 6th consecutive year it confirms our team’s hard work and dedication. Despite the difficult conditions it had to face, during a particularly challenging micro and macroeconomic environment, the Group remains faithful to its timeless values and philosophy, with new independent business decisions and investments that strengthen its presence in the industrial and energy sectors, as well as in the sectors of aviation, shipping and hospitality.”
