Nana Beach Hotel of the Karatzis Group of Companies has received three international awards such as “The Best Hotel with Animation”, “The Best Hotel for Children” and “Customers Choice Award 2013”. The awards are added to an array of honors received by the hotel by leading international institutions, and confirm the continuous efforts made for the development and improvement of the provided services and facilities.
The awards “The Best Hotel with Animation” and “The Best Hotel for Children” were given by the Labirint tour operator, in the context of the Greek – Russian forum held at the Athens Concert Hall at the end of April, in cooperation with the Greek incoming tour operator Le Grand Group of Companies and Aegean airlines, being the largest event ever held in Greece at this level, as it was attended by more than 1000 travel agents. The ceremony took place in the presence of the General Secretary of Tourism Mr. Anastasios Liaskos and the Chief Commercial Officer of Labirint Travel Company Mrs. Tatiana Zotova. On behalf of the Karatzis company and Nana Beach Hotel the ceremony was attended by the Deputy CEO of Karatzis S.A. Mrs. Marita Karatzi and the General Manager of Nana Beach Hotel Mr. Ilias Kalathas. These distinctions are of special and significant importance to Nana Beach Hotel as it is known for the high quality infrastructure and recreational activities it provides to children, constituting a model of development and upgrade of these services.
Additionally, Nana Beach Hotel was voted by the customers of the tourism agency Apollo Kuoni as the best hotel in its category, and received the gold award “Customers Choice 2013”. The Apollo organization is part of the Kuoni Group and is one of the largest travel agencies in the Nordic countries. The fact that this distinction comes from the collection of the Apollo customers’ highest score, documents the priority given by the hotel to the customer and to the provision of integrated services. The award ceremony took place at Rethymno Mare Resort on April 25, and was attended among others by the Regional Vice Governor of Rethymno Mrs. Maria Lioni, the Mayor of Rethymnon Mr. George Marinakis, the Commercial Director of Kuoni Nordic AB Mr. Takis Philippopoulos, the president of the Rethymnon Hoteliers Association Mr. Manolis Tsakalakis, the Managing Director of Hellenic Zeus Travel Mr. Lefteris Papakaliatis and
other executives in the area of tourism. On behalf of the company Karatzis and Nana Beach Hotel, the ceremony was attended by the Deputy CEO of Karatzis S.A. Mrs. Marita Karatzi and the General Manager of Nana Beach Hotel, Mr. Ilias Kalathas.
