The well-‐known entrepreneur from Heraklion, Miltiadis Karatzis, was honoured in this year’s Christmas event of the athletic association “Kallipateira”, in Heraklion. The president of the association, Katerina Panagopoulou, spoke about the entrepreneur’s great personality, as well as her enthusiasm when she sees the contribution of Cretans in voluntary actions.
The Branch of the athletic association held the long-‐standing Christmas event this year too, with the purpose of offering the proceeds for the construction of “Kallipateira” health diagnosis and prevention centre for young athletes.
The president of the Association was moved by the response of the people, which is bigger and bigger every year in Crete, as she noted.
Katerina Panagopoulou said that the Greeks should stand up to this crisis and join their forces so that they can support all those in need.
